How a tour works

You bring the group. We handle the rest.

Six steps from first email to the flight home. Most groups are surprised how little they have to do.

1

You get in touch

Tell us who's traveling, roughly when, and what you'd love them to see.

2

We send a proposal

Within a few days: a suggested route, what it includes, and per-person pricing for your group size.

3

We shape it with you

Add days, swap sites, slow the pace, build around a theme. This is your tour, and we expect it to change.

4

We arrange everything

Hotels, transport, licensed guides, entrance timing, permits, and the contingencies you'll never hear about.

5

You step off the plane

We meet you at the airport. From that moment the logistics are ours and your attention is free.

6

We're with you throughout

Your guide is with the group each day, and someone from our team is reachable for the whole trip.

“Expertly handled travel arrangements for a large group in spite of last minute changes dictated by world politics. Added a very personal touch, we were traveling with the owners and they introduced some of their local friends as well.”

What a group organizer needs to know.

Pricing
Our set routes start from $1,750 to $3,050 per person, land only. Custom tours are quoted to your group's size and plan in the proposal.

Flights aren't included; budget roughly $1,000–$2,000 per person for airfare from the US.

Group size
Anything from one professor to a full conference at Nicea. Our sweet spot is 15 to 30. Your price is based on the numbers we agree in the proposal, and we can agree a minimum number there too. If numbers drop below that agreement, the price may change accordingly.
Lead time
Six to twelve months is ideal. Shorter can work, so ask.
Deposit & payment
$250 deposit. Full payment 90 days before departure. Travelers can pay us directly, or we can bill your church or school for the whole group.

The things that make it yours.

Every tour has room for extras that fit your people. Some cost nothing; some just need planning in early.

A Bible teacher with your group, subject to availability
Coffee roasted for the trip
A workshop visit: carpets, parchment, calligraphy
Course credit for students
Extra days on either end

Teachers come to us through trusted relationships. In the past they’ve come from The Gospel Coalition (TGC), The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (SBTS) and 9Marks, along with other like-minded churches and institutions.

Sunday worship. If your tour includes a Sunday, tell us early. The local congregations we know are English-speaking, and joining one is usually only feasible for smaller groups. It depends on where you are that day and how many you are, so we can't promise it, but we'll plan the day around it wherever we can.

Course credit for student groups is arranged case by case with partner institutions. Ask and we'll walk you through it.

Four routes we know by heart.

Any of these can be a starting point. Shorten it, extend it, combine it, or rebuild it around your group.

Just a day? We run Ephesus and Istanbul day trips.

Ashore from a cruise, or have a free day in the city? A one day tour with a licensed guide needs no group and no overnight stay.

If your group wants somewhere we don't yet run, that's not a no.

Between us we've traveled three dozen countries, a good many of them in the biblical world, and we keep company with operators and guides across the region, including friends who run Reformation tours through Europe. So when a group asks about somewhere new, we usually already know someone worth calling.

When we don't, we go. Scouting a destination, walking it, meeting people, and working out what the tour ought to be, is part of the job, not an excuse for saying no. It's simply how every tour we run came to exist.

Tell us where you want to go

Tell us who's traveling.

No deposit, no obligation. Just a conversation about what your group could see, and what it would cost.
