God made time and space and then entered them. The Christ who came in a particular decade, to a particular province, is the same Christ who writes to seven particular congregations about their particular trouble. He is the same Christ who will return in glory to judge.
We need to train our hearts to feel what our minds already know: that God cared for his church in real places, on ground you can still stand on. Until we do, that knowledge stays in our heads alone, and a gift built into creation itself goes unopened.
This journal honors the Lord by remembering his work in the places of Scripture. May it help you know him better, and love him more.
